Though my parents are atheists, I attended a private, Church of Christ elementary and high school, and I feel highly qualified to discuss my concerns and skepticism about religion. I lived in Cincinnati, OH for about three years after college, and was dumbfounded by the religious atmosphere in Memphis when I returned to my hometown to pursue my career. The oppressive, conservative, overly-religious environment found in all corporate setups down south has made using my accounting degree unbearable, and I am returning to nursing school in the summer of 2010 to get a more practical and less political degree.
When I am not blogging or maintaining my affiliate marketing sites, I spend my time running, riding my horse, and spending quality time with my husband, James, and three-year-old son, Corbin.
