Daily scary Bible verse

"And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:"

Deuteronomy 28:53

  1. As I'm certain you are aware, some of the bible was meant as parable or, in the case of the Old Testament, merely an example of artistic license. Keeping in mind that these stories passed orally from generation to generation prior to print. I think we have all been guilty of embellishment from time to time.

In the end, everyone will chose to believe what they wish and will find the evidence to support those beliefs. My own advice has ever been: None should follow without thought or question, no matter what it is in which they believe. Even if nothing. Defense of ones beliefs does not necessarily flow from the attack of another's.
